About Project:

Client: Star cement Limited Star Cement’s 4600 TPD cement grinding plant at Jalpaiguri (West Bengal).

Project: Cement grinding unit

Systems controlled through DCS system:
  1. Cement mill, with gear box and mill hydraulics.
  2. Easy to trace process and system faults.
  3. Operator friendly operations and graphics easy to understand and control.
  4. Integration of 376 intelligent motor control relay (iMCC-LTMR) to the Cement Mill DCS system having easy & fast fault finding and rectification of motor feeders.
  5. Fully automatic Cement extraction from 3 cement silo for OPC, PPC, PSC. With enhanced safety of equipment failure.
  6. We also commissioned packing plant having of two fully automatic Roto-packer controlled and supervised for our DCS system, which starts and stop by only individual permission of tangential & Radial side belt discharge and while run respective truck loader.
  7. Material handling (Clinker, Gypsum, flyash and slag unloading, storage and transport to feed hoppers)
  8. Flyash unloading and transport system.
  9. We also provide the facility that if any feeder becomes trips it will hold that reason in its faceplate by making that condition unhealthy.
  10. We also provide the time based alarming on operator screen of cement mill tripping if having a delay in logic, like improper greasing, high temperature of motor bearing or windings of cement mill motor or classifier.
  11. We also commissioned a coal mill a capacity of 40 TPD to fire HAG and make mill circuit healthy.
  12. To make plant environment friendly and dust free we prepare dust collecting bag filters to run automatically with their respective belts, weigh feeders, or system.
